Perfect Red

Hello lovelies,
                    I hope you all are fine and I hope you all loved the wishlist which I created with Sammydress and Zaful. I know I have been very inactive on blogs but that's because it is my final year & my exams are going on. It's really hot outside and in this heat, I prefer staying inside my house and watch TV Series. Would love to know how you guys spend the hot days?
Coming back to my post, I was given the privilege to choose few outfits from Zaful and this dress was one of them. Recently you must have seen a lot of people wearing this Red crochet dress from Shraddha Kapoor to a lot of bloggers too. I really couldn't take my eyes off from this one & made my mind instantly to add it to my cart. This dress is really comfortable and can be worn by you at some grand occasion as well as a very casual gathering. This dress has a skin colour lining underneath which is a material that won't bite you in this scorching heat.
Well ! this dress also reminded of a quote by Jean Rhys, Wide Sargasso Sea which said, 

“Your red dress,’ she said, and laughed.
But I looked at the dress on the floor and it was as if the fire had spread across the room. It was beautiful and it reminded me of something I must do. I will remember I thought. I will remember quite soon now.”

A red dress can really do wonders and makes you stand out in a crowd of a lot of colours.

I paired this dress with a little diamond pendant which is almost next to invisible :P. I kept the look really simple & didn't go for any makeup or accessories which is apt for a sunny day out to a very casual gathering . I chose to open up my hair since most of you might be uncomfortable wearing sleeveless so I would suggest you guys to open up your hair or throw on a white stole or something. You can make a dutch side braid or curl up your hair, make a bun etc with this dress. You can accessorize it with a nude clutch and for makeup you can go for a red lipshade.

                    Hope everything is fine at your end. I know its really really a long time since I have put up a blog for which I really apologize but now since winters are officially going back, I have come up with a look for you. I recently got some outfits from SAMMY DRESS and this sweater dress is one of them. SAMMY DRESS is one of the well known sites globally. They offer world of style at the lowest possible online prices without compromising on the quality of the product. This month that is March, is a month wherein you can witness a pleasant weather and this weather is perfect for wearing a sweater dress. I know the moment I said sweater dress, you guys must be thinking WHAT? IN THIS SEASON? ABSOLUTELY NOT!. But trust me, it is very much the season because of its material. It is perfect to wear it in such a weather since it is made up of Polyester,Rayon & Spandex material.

I totally love the Asymmetrical pattern of this dress and how easily everyone can carry it. 

I wore this dress with boots. The dress can be worn with fishnet stockings and boots are like a must for it to give it an edgy look. 

I wore silver loops with it along with black round sunglasses to complete the look.

This dress can be worn by you for a casual outing and for times where you want to dress up but at the same time be very minimal.

Burgundy Brew

Hello lovelies, 
                       How is winter treating you all? For those who are in college I hope your exams went well. My exams are still on and now I am just too bugged with giving papers. Well! as I promised you guys to be more regular so here I am to fulfill my promise. I know one really bad thing about winters is that you have to wear layer of clothes so for that I have come up with a post wherein this sweater from Koovs would not only keep you warm but also stylish at the same time. This year was all about cold shoulders and off shoulder tops and dresses so when I came across this pullover I thought why not choose a Cold shoulder pullover too, Nice eh?
                    I know since its winters some of you might think that wearing this is not a good idea but you can always wear your black long coat with it. I am sure the outfit will make you shine in the event wherever you decide to wear this. Following the quote by Bobbi brown " Every season has its lipstick trend, just because your perfect colour is pinky beige, that doesn't mean you can't wear deep burgundy," I chose this colour.  Isn't the colour just too appealing eh?

I chose to wear this pullover with boyfriend jeans along with my all time favourite white sneakers, While these John Lennon sunglasses are adding glam to the entire look. You guys can accessorize it with some backpack or some junk jewellery. But keeping it minimal and simple will give the outfit a ravishing look. Not to forget, to add on the bold look, I mixed two brown lipshades while for the eyes smokey makeup was done by smudging the kajal on my eyelid but then sunglasses hid it all.

New Menu launch at Vintage Machine

Hello guys,
                  As you all know that recently I attended a get together at Vintage Machine for the launch of their new menu. Since the time Vintage machine opened up in Lucknow, it has been my favourite hangout spot and I am sure you must be very well aware of how yummy their coffee is and ofcourse other things as well. The ambiance at VM serves as a perfect hangout place for family and peers.

HOW TO REACH THERE: 
You just have to take a left turn from the Patrakarpuram chauraha and you'll see it on the right just a few steps ahead. Their exact address is 3/11, Patrakar Puram, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Patrakarpuram Crossing Road, Patrakar Puram, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226010

AMBIANCE : 
As the word Vintage is been used so the ambiace provides a perfect rustic 90's English look with chic bulbs which is adding to the beauty of the place. Whenever the weather is good you can sit outside as well and enjoy the weather with their amazing variety of food.

FOOD : 
They have a variety of food to offer but this time I chose to order things from their new dishes which were added to the menu. Starting from the starters, I had

MAC & CHEESE PASTA- This pasta was a mouth melting pasta. Made in Milk and cheese, this pasta catered the right amount of flavours to my taste bud. It was garnished with some bread crumbs which made the taste more amazing.

HAM GARLIC BREAD :

The starter which I ordered next was Ham garlic bread which had some chicken crumbs along with a lot of cheese. The aroma was just so tempting and it was very luscious. 

PERI PERI CHICKEN BURGER :

Finally for the dinner, I ordered red burger which was named Peri Peri chicken. 

It had a thick layer of chicken fillets along with some mayonnaise & lettuce leaves. The burger was very scrumptious and was offered with french fries and a mixture of mustard sauce and some chilli garlic sauce. The burger was very filly so in case you decide to have it as your lunch or dinner trust me that would be all.
Along with my dinner. I opted for ferrero rochers shake which was just so appetizing. It had the right amount of chocolate and sweetness.

QUEEN'S WAFFLES :
Since waffles are really my weakness so I decided to end my day with it. And I didn't regret eating all at once. The waffles were loaded with Nutella, nuts & banana making it a "hard to deny" dessert.

Plus, Vintage has its first anniversary today and they are giving 15% off to the women for one year (Min. value of bill - Rs.400)

So you guys have one more reason to go to Vintage besides the delicious food.

Launch of Bar & Non-veg menu at Cappucino Blast, Aishbagh

Hello guys,
                  I know I have been posting posts like really late but that's just because I had my internals and was pretty tied up with them. Anyways! all those who have added me on Snapchat must have seen a glimpse or rather the whole event which I covered recently at Cappuccino Blast, Aishbagh. So all those who want to catch the live happenings of further events I will be going go to can add me on snapchat - saakshi_khosla.
                 Whoever belong to Lucknow must be very much aware about Cappuccino Blast which opened up in Mall Avenue in 2000. Cappuccino Blast has various branches one being Mini Cappuccino near Fun & Cappuccino Blast, Aishbagh. Though the Aishbagh branch opened up in 2015 but it exclusively had Vegetarian menu.
                 On 6th August, 2016 the owner of Cappuccino Blast, Miss. Puja Nemani & Miss. Aarti Vaid hosted a grand event for the launch of bar and non-veg menu in association with CIROC nights.

 This Cappi (Short form of what we call it ) is very spacious as in has a lot of space in its garden, terrace & the dining area too. Now, Lucknow has a party address where you guys can host parties also.

ENTRANCE- We really had some amazing time wherein everybody was made to Spin-the -wheel and do whatever the wheel told them to as soon as they entered the venue.

THE TERRACE wherein the real party was taking place. DJ Ravi was too a part of it and did his job really well. For the first time in Lucknow they introduced Molecular mixology technique for cocktails, for those who don’t know “Molecular mixology” is the process of creating cocktails using the equipment and techniques of molecular gastronomy. These methods enable the creation of greater intensities and varieties of flavour, flavour combinations and different ways of presenting drinks, for example using gels, powders, foams, atomized sprays, etc., as well as affecting the appearance of the cocktail.

THE DINE AREA ON THE GROUND FLOOR - The seats are in shape of Stilettos making it unique on its own and the ambiance is just so beautiful and serene.

 For starters they were a lot of variety but since we were so busy dancing & getting clicked that we missed out on some good stuff so Chinese Bhel which is a Vegetarian dish was the only thing which we managed to eat. Rest there was a lot of booze and some new additions too were made like- Paan Cocktail, Caprioska, Masala Vodka, Tiramisu Martini, Frozen Margerita, Bull Frog, Lemonade Bailey Shots Rasgulla Shots, Tiramisu Ferrari Shots, Cucumber Shots and more. They are based on daily basis in the cafe.

For Dinner we had Chola Bhatura and Live Mongolian Counter which had some really lovely dishes. I had Thai pad noodles wherein the noodles are made of rice along with some exotic veggies.

And not to forget the Hangover kit which was something really new and had things like Vicks, Orbit, Herbal tea, Pepsodent and other similar things which are required to remove the hangover.

Coming on my outfit I wore a dress from Myntra and heels were from Inc.5. I love keeping the look minimal so went for a watch to accessorize the look while to change my look applied some white kajal on my lower lid.

You guys should totally visit Cappuccino Blast, Aishbagh & if some event is coming up you can host your parties too there.
