Kava at Fairfield by Marriott

Hello Lovelies,
I hope you all are doing fabulous. Lately, I am on an eating spree which those who follow me on snapchat would be aware of, if you aren't..what are you waiting for? it's saakshi_khosla@snapchat. Since the time I have come back from my vacation I have just been hogging. So, to quench the thirst of my taste buds I along with a friend of mine who also happens to be a very talented photographer, Yusra Jabeen dined at a restaurant called Kava in Fairfield by Marriott.

ABOUT FAIRFIELD BY MARRIOTT:
For all those who don't know about it, Fairfield by Marriott is a 4 Star hotel which focuses and caters to the needs of a business traveler. They opened up a month back in Lucknow and is situated in Vibhuti Khand, Gomti Nagar opposite Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. The food there is absolutely to die for but it is the ambiance and hospitality of the Hotel as a whole which blew my mind.

FAIRFIELD AS A HOTEL:
Before starting up with the food I want to mention the USPs of this hotel.
Firstly, Its Location : It is centrally localised i.e it is located in the corporate hub catering to the needs of a businessman or an employee travelling to and fro.
Secondly, The View : If you are planning a trip to Lucknow then I would recommend staying at this hotel because the view from the 9th floor is just amazing & is breathtaking.
Thirdly, Economical :  You can enjoy the luxury of a 4 star hotel at reasonable rates as the hotel does not charge it's customers extra for the extravagance that it provides them with.
Fourthly : Kava has a private dining area as well for those of you who wish to enjoy a cozy get together with your loved ones.
Finally,  the Market area : It is the only hotel in Lucknow which offers a market section at its Bakery area i.e All the stuff from Cold drinks to chips to Nutella to chocolates are available at the MRP only. Isn't it cool? All other hotels charge taxes which shoots up the price to a large extent.

KAVA AS A RESTAURANT :
Kava is a fine dine restaurant which offers the best Indian & western cuisines like Continental, Oriental etc in both Buffet & A-La-Carte. Their open kitchen system really impressed me since it gives you a guarantee that food is being cooked with hygiene.
They have a lush green garden as their view from the Kava restaurant. I took a seat in the corner, near the glass window since I love gazing at the greenery.

You get Tea, Coffee, mocktails etc in this section which is right next to the sitting arrangements. Hard beverages will be introduced soon. Infact, the pricing of refreshments is totally affordable i.e Tea and coffee are priced at Rs.100 exclusive of taxes which is very reasonable compared to other restaurants or cafes.

In the Buffet Section, they have a variety of salads for everyone, which will be appreciated not just by the weight watchers but also by those who love fresh and delicious food. Well! trust me if you are on a diet then one look at the sumptuous cuisine will make you celebrate the day as a cheat day and you will not regret it
.

Their Bakery section has freshly baked bread which is so soft and the aroma..Omg you will not be able to resist. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Okay! Being a true desi at heart, I simply cannot overlook the Chaat counter.. It is just so
mesmerizing and they had variety of water which tasted equally good.

Since it was raining outside so we opted to have some coffee initially followed by some starters along with a mocktail & ofcourse the main course.

PANEER NUGGETS :
Though it was a Buffet but the Chef made sure to bring some amazing dishes on our platter so that we don't miss out on those. To begin with, he got us some Paneer nuggets with Salsa sauce which were so soft and moist. If you guys don't wish to have non-veg on Tuesdays or Thursdays then trust me opt for these and it won't disappoint you at all since it gives you a flavour and softness of Chicken nuggets.

PANEER MALAI TIKKA :
The next starter which we got was Paneer malai tikka which was again so fresh and was barbecued. And the way Chef was putting it on to the platter was just so fascinating and the aroma was very tempting.

VIRGIN CAPRIOKA :
Happened to be very refreshing and soothing to the taste buds and has such a taste which makes you wanna drink it without stopping.

BHARWAN ALOO TIKKI :

DAL SULTANI , MIXED VEGETABLE & PANEER LABABDAR :

DESSERTS :
No food is complete without Desserts so despite being so full we couldn't miss out on these yummy desserts.

Smoked Apple which had Mayonese, cream, Kevda in it & it was Smoked. Trust me this was something really new because Kevda is something which is put in the non-veg dishes for the flavour & the aroma.

Shankar Bhog & Malai Barfi :

Coffee pastry, Marble pastry & Red Velvet :
We had all 3..Yes ! ALL 3 they were soo delicious specially the chocolate pastry could be had with a cup coffee since it wasn't too sweet nor bitter.

Last but not the least, Miss. Fatima Abbas, Asst.Manager (Extreme left) along with the most talented Chef  Prashant made sure we had an amazing time there. All the waiters were polite, had a smile on their face & made sure they served well & on time.

Mr. Shahnawaz (Extreme left) took me & my friend round the hotel while Chef Prashant (Next to him) left no stone unturned in the hospitality.

THE TALENTED TEAM !

I was blown away by the hospitality that I was shown by the staff and the chef at the Mariott, I have been to several hotels in the past and to say that this was the experience I won't forget any time soon is not a hyperbole. The service was incredible, they made sure our palette was always filled with their yummy food at all times. Despite being busy in the kitchen and catering to other customers, Chef Prashant  was kind to personally attend to us. It was very sweet of them to have my friend and I dropped back to our respective homes, which was extremely generous and thoughtful of them.

And guys I would really recommend you to go to Kava since they have amazing food with innovative dishes too. They have an inaugural offer going on in which the Buffet is for Rs.666 (inclusive of taxes) which is quite less than many restaurants.

I would like to thank my friend Yusra who took out time to accompany me & clicked such amazing pictures.

Hope you guys liked my post, would love to hear from you & your suggestions are always welcome.

Until next time,
lots of love.
